This uplink station is a complex and versatile equipment perfoming audio compression according to MPEG Layer 3 and the WorldSpace specific bitstream multiplexing. The equipment generates the FDMA uplink signals at IF level.

Installations are currently operating in Europe, Africa and Asia.
