The IZT C3080 signal processing mainboard combines modern RF performance with state of the art digital processing. The powerful down- and upconverter, the Xilinx 5 FPGA and the Power PC microcontroller core allow the user to develop desired applications at any frequency in the range of 30 MHz to 3 GHz.

This uplink station is a complex and versatile equipment perfoming audio compression according to MPEG Layer 3 and the WorldSpace specific bitstream multiplexing. The equipment generates the FDMA uplink signals at IF level.

This communication system provides the transfer of over  20 S0/Up0 channels via coaxial cabel. The QPSK-Transfer rate in range below 100MHz is about 10 Msymbols/sec.

The IZT DAB Content Server is a system for encoding and multiplexing audio inputs, supplementary information and service data into a common data stream for Digital Audio Broadcasting (DAB+).
